Chapter 1

I fumbled through the dark as quietly as I could trying to find my belongings. I snatched up my shirt that was hanging off the back of the chair and my underwear that was on the nightstand. I stubbed my toe on the metal bed frame while looking for my keys. Before I could wince in pain, my mouth was covered.

“Please be quiet or we’re both going to be in a world of hurt!” my late-night entertainer harshly whispered in my ear.

**A Month Earlier**

I walked out of the room sighing with relief. My courses in Pre-law were starting to take a toll on me, but I refused to quit like so many of my family members. I was the baby in the family and I wanted to prove that I could actually make something out of myself. I looked down at my watch and saw that I still had an hour and a half before my next class so, I decided to grab some lunch.

I waited on a nearby bench for my number to be called so I could pick up my food when I heard a low masculine voice beside me.

“Excuse me, but is this seat taken?”

I looked up and saw a man standing before me. He was about 6’0 with caramel skin and muscular arms. He wore a plain crisp white shirt and blue jeans with all-white Air Jordan sneakers. He flashed his pearly whites at me and my panties instantly soaked.

“N-no, have a seat,” I stammered out.
